When life gets loud, who gets to decide who you become?

When life gets loud, who gets to decide who you become?

Most people don't realize they're living by principles. The question is whose principles are they?

Lately, Iโ€™ve been studying Stoicism, and one question has stayed with me: What are my guiding principles?

Not my goals, habits, or dreams. My guiding principles. The quiet truths I choose to live by.

Because here's what I've realized: If we don't consciously choose the principles that guide our lives, life will choose them for us. Our wounds, our fears, our conditioning, society, and the expectations of others will choose them. And one day, we wake up living a life that doesn't feel like our own.

I think that's why the deepest part of my work has always been helping people return to themselves to remember who they already are.

For me, some of those guiding principles are:

๐ŸŒฟ Remember who you are.

๐ŸŒฟ The body carries wisdom.

๐ŸŒฟ Transformation can be gentle.

๐ŸŒฟ Belonging begins within.

๐ŸŒฟ Create from overflow, not depletion.

๐ŸŒฟ Love without abandoning yourself.

I don't write these down because I've mastered them. I write them down because I need to return to them again, and again, and again. They are my compass.

When life gets noisy, they remind me what is true. They aren't rules; they're promises. Promises your wisest self makes to the version of you who will someday forget.

And maybe that's the real work. Not trying to become someone else, but creating a way back to yourself. Your guiding principles are the breadcrumbs that lead you back.

โœจ Reflection

If your future self could leave you one sentence to live by, what would it be? Write it somewhere you'll see it. Let it become one of your guiding principles.

๐ŸŒฟ A Gentle Invitation

Every offering I create is built around one simple intention: helping you remember who you are beneath the noise.

Whether through the Sovereign Goddess Podcast, Goddess Clinics, Light RX, Elevated Empath, or Goddess Unleashed, each step is an invitation to come home to yourself.

Come exactly as you are. There is a place for you on the path.

When life gets loud, who gets to decide who you become?

I used to say, "I'm open to receive."

I used to say, "I'm open to receive." It sounded beautiful and expansive.

But during my recent Goddess Unleashed group call, one of the goddesses said something that stopped me in my tracks. She smiled and said:

"We're always open to receiving something."

And suddenly, I saw it. Being "open to receive" isn't automatically a good thing. We can be open to receiving:

  • Drama.

  • Fear.

  • Scarcity.

  • Criticism.

  • Other people's projections.

  • Constant urgency.

  • Even stories that were never ours to carry.

So, perhaps the invitation isn't simply to be open. Perhaps it's to become intentional.

Instead of saying, "I'm open to receive..." try asking yourself: "What am I opening myself to receive?"

Today, I am opening myself to receive:

โœจ More peace than pressure.

โœจ More joy than fear.

โœจ More belonging than loneliness.

โœจ More love than self-protection.

โœจ More opportunities than obstacles.

โœจ More beauty, community, abundance, rest, and truth.

Because where we place our attention, our hearts begin to make room. And perhaps receiving isn't about opening every doorโ€”it's about opening the right ones.

โœจ Reflection:

Complete this sentence: Today, I am open to receive _______________.

Iโ€™d love to hear your answer in the comments.

๐ŸŒฟ A Gentle Invitation

If you're longing for more than inspirationโ€”if you're ready to gently embody these truths instead of simply reading about themโ€”I'd love to welcome you into one of the spaces I've created.

Whether through the Sovereign Goddess Podcast, a Goddess Clinic, Elevated Empath, or Goddess Unleashed, there's a place on the garden path for you.

Come exactly as you are. The door is open whenever you're ready.

What Are You Exchanging Your Life For?

One of the most influential Stoic philosophers, Seneca, once wrote:

"People are frugal in guarding their personal property; but as soon as it comes to squandering time, they are most wasteful of the one thing in which it is right to be stingy."

I've been sitting with those words.

If someone tried to steal your home, you would protect it.

If someone emptied your bank account, you would fight to recover it.

Yet every day, we willingly give away the one thing we can never recover.

Our time.

We exchange it for worry.

For people-pleasing.

For proving ourselves.

For distractions.

For carrying burdens that were never ours.

And often

we don't even realize we're doing it.

Because time isn't simply something we spend.

It's something we exchange.

Every moment quietly asks:

"Is this worthy of a piece of your life?"

The older I become, the more I realize that we don't lose our lives all at once.

We lose them one unconscious moment at a time.

And we reclaim them the very same way.

One conscious breath.

One intentional choice.

One fully inhabited moment.

Because every moment you give away carelessly isn't just lost time.

It's a piece of your one precious life.

Spend it on what enlarges your life, deepens your love, and awakens your soul.

โœจ Reflection

Where have you been exchanging pieces of your life without even realizing it?

What's one conscious choice you can make today to reclaim this moment?

๐ŸŒฟ A Gentle Invitation

If you're longing for a different relationship with your life, not just your time, I would love to walk with you.

Whether through the Sovereign Goddess Podcast, Goddess Clinics, Light RX, Elevated Empath, or Goddess Unleashed, each offering is an invitation to come home to yourself, one conscious moment at a time.

Come exactly as you are.

There is a place for you on the path.
