When life gets loud, who gets to decide who you become?
When life gets loud, who gets to decide who you become?
Most people don't realize they're living by principles. The question is whose principles are they?
Lately, I’ve been studying Stoicism, and one question has stayed with me: What are my guiding principles?
Not my goals, habits, or dreams. My guiding principles. The quiet truths I choose to live by.
Because here's what I've realized: If we don't consciously choose the principles that guide our lives, life will choose them for us. Our wounds, our fears, our conditioning, society, and the expectations of others will choose them. And one day, we wake up living a life that doesn't feel like our own.
I think that's why the deepest part of my work has always been helping people return to themselves to remember who they already are.
For me, some of those guiding principles are:
🌿 Remember who you are.
🌿 The body carries wisdom.
🌿 Transformation can be gentle.
🌿 Belonging begins within.
🌿 Create from overflow, not depletion.
🌿 Love without abandoning yourself.
I don't write these down because I've mastered them. I write them down because I need to return to them again, and again, and again. They are my compass.
When life gets noisy, they remind me what is true. They aren't rules; they're promises. Promises your wisest self makes to the version of you who will someday forget.
And maybe that's the real work. Not trying to become someone else, but creating a way back to yourself. Your guiding principles are the breadcrumbs that lead you back.
✨ Reflection
If your future self could leave you one sentence to live by, what would it be? Write it somewhere you'll see it. Let it become one of your guiding principles.
🌿 A Gentle Invitation
Every offering I create is built around one simple intention: helping you remember who you are beneath the noise.
Whether through the Sovereign Goddess Podcast, Goddess Clinics, Light RX, Elevated Empath, or Goddess Unleashed, each step is an invitation to come home to yourself.
Come exactly as you are. There is a place for you on the path.
